01What we deliver

Built around your product.

We plan the engagement around your goals, team, and technology. These are the parts we most often bring together for this kind of work.

01

Web and mobile applications

Responsive web or mobile journeys, with accessible states, authentication and agreed acceptance criteria for the users doing the work.

02

Workflow and operations platforms

An operations model covering roles, records, exceptions and handoffs so staff can complete an entire workflow.

03

API and third-party integrations

Documented API contracts and integration behavior, including unavailable upstream systems, retries and reconciliation.

04

Cloud architecture and modernization

A migration and operating plan covering environments, deployment, monitoring and rollback. Modernization proceeds in stages where practical.

Is this the right starting point?

For teams whose core operations have outgrown packaged software, or whose existing product needs new capabilities, integrations or staged modernization.

Where it may not fit

A supported off-the-shelf product may be the better investment for a standard workflow. A rewrite is not the default: first establish what can be retained, what is fragile and where incremental change is feasible.

From first conversation to handover

  1. Map the current workflow and compare build, buy and extend options.
  2. Review existing code, data, integrations and access; identify the highest-risk dependency.
  3. Ship a usable vertical slice and validate it with the people who will operate it.
  4. Migrate carefully, document ownership and agree on maintenance and support.

02Common questions

What clients usually ask first.

When does custom software make sense?

Custom software makes sense when a core workflow sets your business apart, existing tools force expensive workarounds, or the software itself is the product. We help you test that case before you commit to a large build.

Can Rubix take over an existing codebase?

Yes. We review the product and codebase, identify the main risks, and agree on a practical plan to stabilize, improve, or modernize it in stages.

What determines the scope and price?

The number of user journeys, integration quality, migration needs, roles, security constraints and release requirements. Discovery turns these into a bounded scope and explicit exclusions.

How is an existing system migrated?

We inventory data and dependencies, agree on reconciliation checks and plan the cutover and rollback. Some systems can move in stages; others require a coordinated release window.

What do we receive at handover?

The agreed source code, setup and deployment instructions, integration documentation and operating guidance. Ownership, third-party licenses and support terms are confirmed in the engagement agreement.
