The challenge
What needed to be easier.
Astronomy is hard to picture at human scale. The app needed to show spatial relationships clearly while keeping exploration simple and enjoyable.
Augmented reality
We built an augmented reality iOS app that lets people explore planets, moons, and other celestial bodies in their own space.

The challenge
Astronomy is hard to picture at human scale. The app needed to show spatial relationships clearly while keeping exploration simple and enjoyable.
Our approach
We used Apple ARKit to place an interactive solar system in the user's environment, with clear information about each celestial body.
Inside the experience
A visual guide to the published product scope.
ARKit brings celestial models into the room.
Move around planets and moons.
Use touch and spatial interaction.
Read about the celestial bodies in context.
